In what ways do you believe HBF Textiles supports the professional growth and development of women in the workforce?

"Reflecting on my journey at HBF, I'm incredibly grateful for the women who have transformed me, like Casey Baxter, our inspiring first female GM. Their support and belief are a powerful reminder that we shouldn't shy away from promoting ourselves. Just as I've dedicated myself to empowering others, let's embrace opportunities for advancement and celebrate the women who lift us all up. As my Mom always said, 'You can do anything,' and with the support of this remarkable community, I know it's true."

Are there any initiatives or causes related to women's rights or gender equality that you're passionate about, and how do you incorporate them into your work or personal life?

"Fueled by a passion for women's rights and true equality, I advocate for inclusivity within feminism. This extends beyond cisgender women, encompassing female-identifying individuals and advocating for their rightful place in this movement. Additionally, I champion the rights of LGBTQ+ women and women of color, recognizing the intersectional nature of their marginalization. To translate these passions into action, I believe in open communication and education. I'm always happy to engage in honest conversations and answer questions, fostering understanding and building a more inclusive and equitable future."

Who are some influential female figures, at HBF Textiles or not, that have influenced your career, and what lessons have you learned from them?

"For me, Mary Jo and Casey stand out as true inspirations. While incredibly different, they share an unwavering passion for our brand and what we represent. They embody the understanding that a brand goes beyond the visual; it's about our core culture. Beautiful designs are essential, but without strong leadership and a team environment built on respect and open communication, even the most elegant fabric won't translate to success.”

In what ways do you believe HBF Textiles supports the professional growth and development of women in the workforce?

“HBF Textiles is a breath of fresh air compared to my past experiences where I felt hindered. Here, growth, learning, and achieving more are actively encouraged. It's inspiring to be surrounded by so many talented women who set incredible examples. This fosters a sense of empowerment and motivates me to reach for my full potential."

By working together, celebrating accomplishments, and empowering voices, we can unlock the full potential of our diverse community and create an equitable future for all.
