CHICAGO, IL, June, 2013 - Aptly named Present Perfect, Barbara Barry’s new collection for HBF Textiles has a nod to the past but is perfectly poised for today’s demanding interiors. A well-curated wardrobe of accents and essentials, this rich and dimensional assemblage of materials offers sophisticated color, timeless pattern and superb performance.

Inspired by the timeless glamour of the 1940s and ‘50s, Barry translates this classic influence into a vibrant and textural palette of textiles for the contract environment. The perfect balance between design and resilience, Present Perfect offers 49 colorations that combine elegant hand drawn gestures with properties that range from bleach cleanable to multi-purpose vertical applications to superior outdoor light-fastness.

The Present Perfect Collection includes seven signature designs with heavy duty abrasion performance characteristics and stain resistant finishes.

Attaché is an elegant luxurious leather that will age as beautifully as the finest attaché.

Satin Duet is a pristine yarn-dyed wool satin with an exceptional weight, luxurious drape, and just a hint of texture.

French Knot features a heavy textured yarn that pops through the surface of this exceptional wool, creating an overlay reminiscent of hand-embroidered knots.

Straight & Narrow takes advantage of Sunbrella outdoor fabric technology to offer durability, colorfastness and mildew resistance.

Bow Tie resembles a dapper accessory, offering a touch of pattern with fine intertwining lines running across a fine faille ground. The piece-dyed fabric is a unique construction, which offers a hint of stretch for exceptional tailoring.

City Lights emulates lights shimmering through the evening fog. This construction features high luster rayon yarns that glint from the textured surface of this abstract design.

Dry Brush reflects an abstract expressionist inspiration for this large scale, graphic texture. Bold aligning brushstrokes are rendered in a complex woven construction.
